Doing this changes the pitch of the audio. I did this by going on Effects, hovering on Time and Pitch and selecting Pitch Shift. There are multiple presets that can be used and there's also the ability to do a custom one

Rehearsal Review 1
Because we had to record in two takes (in the first take one of our idents didn't work so we had to stop the recording) and were very short on time because of that, we had to skip playing our songs in the second half. We also had to skip the advice column and news section as we didn't have our guest or reporter in the rehearsal. We didn't have our adverts play either as we didn't have them downloaded. This is why the duration only comes down to 37 minutes, which I still think is decent considering how we had to skip so much in the radio show
Since we mostly read from the script our timing was a bit off and sometimes we had long pauses because the script was multiple pages and we had to try and find the page we're supposed to be on. It didn't help that we both had to share the same script as well. My presenter style also suffered a bit because of this, sometimes I had no idea what I was supposed to say (which is why the intro was a bit off in terms of me and my co-hosts chemistry) because of how unorganised the script was and it was obvious when I was reading when I did know. Later on as the rehearsal continues I do get better at it though. In our script we frequently signpost and play idents and as we were following the script, I think we did well on that. While it was difficult trying to read it, I still think the script and the content in it is really good. We have topics that the target audience would be interested in (Spotify for example), songs that they'd listen to (Lovejoy and Kero Kero Bonito) and adverts that would cater to them (while they didn't play in the rehearsal, we had ads for ASOS and Mcdonalds to name a few). We also follow the remit still with playing an upcoming UK artist (Kero Kero Bonito), has a diverse range of music genres (pop, alt rock, electronic music, ect.), shed light on mental health issues that would affect students with our advice column and cater to the younger target audience with our Q&A
At the beginning I was the editor, but in the second recording me and my co-host swapped as I felt a bit overwhelmed. We plan on keeping it that way. The volume levels for the presenters were perfectly fine, our fade ins for the songs were consistent as well. Overall I think the main problem of this rehearsal was the technical difficulty with the idents, the lack of time that we had and how difficult it was to read the script. Aside from a few grammar errors in our script that we can easily gloss over when it comes to the show, we don't need to change it or the running order at all
Daily Diary 27/01
Today I had to make all my idents and do a rehearsal of the show. I now have to do an review on the rehearsal. Next week I have to come in at 9am on Tuesday and stay there until 10:30am to do our next rehearsal, afterwards I have to do another review for that
The first rehearsal was a bit of a mess but at the end of the day we ended up being able to finish the script, showing determination. Reading from the script papers wasn't really helpful either as I had to keep flipping through pages to keep on track with the time, next time I plan to download it and read it from my phone. This rehearsal wasn't perfect but I think it didn't go that badly either

Despite our recording time being cut in half again due to an issue with the technology, we were able to get through the majority of our show (before the advice column and outro section) and ended with 50 minutes. We also ad libbed a few parts which is why it went out for so long, so we may have a slightly different time if we don't ad lib again (but we most likely will). We read out the news section as well which we skipped in the last rehearsal, but we plan to record the news section audio after the show aswell since we knew neither of us could be the reporter
The major errors were: we still didn't have the adverts downloaded, the open mic interview doesn't play and the song Addiction by Doja Cat isn't the clean version. Before the show starts I'll make sure to download the 30 second adverts, make sure the open mic interview works and to find a clean version of the song
The chemistry between me and my co-host improved between the last rehearsal, it was fun to record and you can tell throughout the show. The ad libs really helped with that as well but I'm not sure if we're going to be talking about the same subjects (like the one in celebrity news about celebrities children names) in the live show as that was spurred on by the conversation we had before we started rehearsing. When playing our show to the person who would be our news reporter, they said that our topics (Q&A section especially) sounded like "conversations you'd hear at a lunch table"
I think for our live show we should definitely keep track of the time since we're very close to filling the full one hour. We should also play all of our audio before the show starts so we can check if any of them don't work. I think that we should sort all the audio as they play to save time, stop awkward pauses and to also avoid confusion and that we might have to rename the "Programme ID" and "Station ID" as they can be confused for each other, but I'd have to talk to my co-host about this as I'm not the editor
Daily Diary 01/02
Today I had to go to college to do my rehearsal for the show. This will be the last rehearsal before the live show which is tomorrow at 3pm-4:15pm
I think we did much better than the last rehearsal, using my phone to read out the script majorly helped. Before I was worried about not making it to the full hour, but now I'm slightly worried of going over it. I think we should be fine though as long as we keep track of the time. I was considering cutting down the news section as it was a bit long in my opinion, but I was assured that its fine by my co-host

Radio Show Diary
For the first time we didn't have any technological problems in between the show. We had to start late due to some idents not working, but afterwards there weren't any major issues. Our ad libs really helped the show feel more alive and fun, as a pair we worked together really well and majority of the laughs in the show are genuine. As an individual I think I performed well, telling most of the jokes in the show and not stumbling over my lines for the most part. We had to skip some questions in our Advice Column because we were already getting close to the 1 hour mark, but this was ultimately a good decision because our radio show ended at 1 hour with 2 seconds over, with the last thing just being the Barnfield Radio ident playing. Calling our guests also went smoothly
We accidentally played the beginning bit of our news section again and there were some pauses in between the idents/music as we had to find the audio through the system. I suggested sorting them in order of when they're played but that didn't help much. Even though it happened, we stayed determined and didn't continued as normal. Towards the end of the show we had to slowly fade out songs as they were ending which I was a bit worried about, but looking back it was what had to be done in a way
It was fun to record which I wasn't expecting, I originally dreaded this unit but it didn't turn out that bad in the end. It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, I had the confidence to speak and felt pretty relaxed while talking. A major reasoning is because of my co-host who was very fun to talk to and work with. I think if I got somebody else it wouldn't have turned out as good as it was nor would I have felt as motivated to properly participate. One thing I was worried about though was that we'd have another technical difficulty as we constantly had one in our rehearsals, but there wasn't any so I think it turned out okay. I didn't find majority of it challenging because of the rehearsals and also because I wasn't the live editor
Daily Diary 02/02
Today I had to go to college to do my live show, tomorrow we'll have to do an evaluation on the entire unit
This was honestly fun to record, I felt very relaxed throughout the whole show and I was worried that we'd have technical difficulties like we did with the last rehearsals but nothing major happened. We made sure to play all of our audio beforehand to make sure all of them worked as the problem with the first rehearsal was that one of them didn't. We started later than usual because of this, but because we were the last ones to record it didn't affect us
